This opportunity offers flexible sessional work across GP practices and primary care services, with structured clinics, clear pathways and the option to focus on what you do best. You will be supported by established reception and clinical systems to keep your day running smoothly.

Up to 3 days per week available, with flexibility around sessions and start dates.

Role Snapshot
• Autonomous ANP clinics with a mixed same day and pre booked caseload.

Key Responsibilities
• Undertake advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for acute and chronic presentations.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately within scope, following local pathways and NICE guidance.
• Request and interpret investigations, escalating where clinically indicated.
• Manage minor illness and urgent on the day presentations, maintaining safe documentation.
• Provide clinical advice to the wider practice team and contribute to shared learning.

Requirements
• Registered Nurse with ANP qualification and evidence of advanced practice capability.
• V300 Independent Prescribing qualification.
• Recent primary care experience with confidence managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Up to date safeguarding knowledge and awareness of local referral processes.
• Commitment to high quality record keeping and professional, patient centred care.

Working Pattern
• Locum sessions available with a preference for consistency where possible.
• Typically daytime clinics with options for longer or shorter sessions depending on practice need.
• Opportunity to book up to 3 days weekly, with sessions agreed in advance.
• Immediate and future dates available depending on your availability.
