This role sits within supportive GP practice teams with organised treatment rooms, established recall systems and clear clinical protocols, enabling you to deliver high standards of nursing care. You will benefit from strong admin support, reliable stock processes and a team approach that keeps clinics running to time.
Up to 2 days per week available, with flexible session times and start dates.
Role Snapshot
• Treatment room based practice nursing with a structured clinic schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver routine practice nurse clinics including immunisations and injections where trained.
• Undertake cervical cytology in line with training and competency.
• Provide wound care, dressings and chronic disease monitoring within agreed protocols.
• Support infection prevention, cold chain management and safe clinical standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation, coding and appropriate follow up actions.
Requirements
• NMC registration with recent UK GP practice nurse experience.
• Competence in treatment room skills relevant to the clinic plan.
• Cytology and immunisation experience desirable depending on sessions booked.
• Up to date safeguarding and basic life support training.
• Reliable, professional approach with strong patient communication skills.
Working Pattern
• Part time, locum and temporary options depending on clinic need.
• Up to 2 days per week initially, with flexibility to add sessions at short notice.
• Daytime treatment room clinics with clear appointment templates.
• Opportunity for ongoing cover when availability aligns.
